It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating our 2nd Birthday, oh how fast the year goes by! The last year has seen a lot of new changes and enhancements to FormSpring, hopefully making your form building a little easier! We appreciate all the great customers we have and the wonderful support and feedback that you provide us on a continual basis.
Every now and again we like to take some time away from the forms and get active in the community. One organization that we truly believe in is Junior Achievement, a great organization that provides real-life education for elementary and Jr high students. Junior Achievement of Central Indiana is holding their annual Bowl-A-Thon on March 6th and FormSpring has entered as a team.
One of the great things about creating a product like ours, is that we are able to put our own form builder to use, and incorporate online forms in our own business. Below are a few ways that we use FormSpring to help our business.
We made lots of changes during our last upgrade. Many of the changes were relatively small but made life building your online forms a little easier. One of those changes is the addition of more pre-built forms. The pre-built forms are an easy way to get started with the basics without having to build a form completely from scratch. They also give you good ideas for the types of fields you may want to include in your own form, even if you don’t use a pre-built one.
Many small businesses and nonprofit organizations have turned to blogging as a way to connect with their customers, and as a relatively cheap way to do a bit of online marketing. One of the more popular blogging platforms is WordPress. Many people don’t know that creating a form that works in your WordPress blog is easy with FormSpring. You can create any type of form, a simple online contact form or even an event registration form, and embed that form right within your blog post.
There may be times when you want to collect a small bit of information on one form and then redirect the user on to a second, longer form to collect more information. On the second form, you don’t want them to have to fill out any of the same info from the first form, so you want to pass on that data from one form to another.
We have been working hard on a new version of the FormSpring form builder and are excited to announce many great new features and functionality. Most of the changes you will see will give you more flexibility in managing the look and feel of your online forms as well as providing your users with better usability.
