FormSpring on Fox 59 News
We were surprised last week to see a FormSpring form at the top of the local newscast on Indy’s Fox affiliate, Fox 59. The story was on how the Marion County Health Department is using FormSpring to distribute H1N1 vaccinations to health care providers and other outlets during this important health crisis.
A common request we get here at FormSpring is for a way to embed form data on another website for anyone to see. While we give you a Share URL that you can link to, embedding this URL doesn’t always work and it doesn’t give you the freedom to pick and choose which fields from your data you want to share with your site visitors. This is where one of our integrations may come in handy.
Indianapolis is quickly becoming recognized as a great place to be a growing technology company (something many of us have known for some time). The Indy area has some fast growing companies as well as a growing community of smart, forward thinking marketers. We are home to one of the leading Marketing Technology blogs and a great blogging conference called BlogIndiana. Coming up in October we have another growing and very valuable conference called MBO – Masters of Business Online – a conference that brings together organizations big and small in the Indy region to listen to presenters with a wide variety of skills across all online platforms. Unlike many growing national conferences this isn’t just the latest flash in the pan topics like blogging and social media, but rather a look at everything from Search, PPC, Email Marketing, Social Media, and much much more.
We have been looking at our semi-white walls for a long time wondering how exactly we could decorate them and still give this place some personality. We caught some inspiration after reading a post on the FreshThinking blog on how FreshBooks decorated their offices for cheap.
As many of you know we have spent the better part of our summer integrating FormSpring with other popular web applications. These integrations empower organizations to use data they collect via FormSpring web forms with other web applications that can help them run their business.
If you have been following us closely over the last few months you might have realized that we have announced some major enhancements to our form builder. As we continue to evolve we want to make sure that we are doing a good job of educating our customers on how to best use the application and how to leverage the power of FormSpring to help you grow your business.
A common request we’ve had in recent months was that we add the ability for account owners to have their receipts automatically go to other e-mail addresses. Receipts already go to the admin(s) on the account, but often the person in a company that actually needs to see the receipt is in the accounting department and doesn’t even have access to log into FormSpring.
Just a quick head’s up that the FormSpring office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7th as we celebrate Labor Day.
